Elye Wahi is being linked with a move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Galatasaray, with the potential transfer currently rated at a 52% probability, according to data compiled on 13 December 2025.

The 22-year-old centre-forward, who represents both France and Côte d’Ivoire at nationality level, is listed with a market value of €18.00m, a figure that is expected to frame any negotiations between the Bundesliga side and the Turkish champions. With no contract expiry date specified in the available data, there is also scope for speculation that his situation in Frankfurt could evolve towards a free-agency scenario if no agreement is reached.

Wahi only joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Olympique Marseille in the 2024-25 campaign, continuing a rapid rise that has already taken in several of Europe’s leading leagues. Before his switch to Germany, he moved from RC Lens to Marseille in August 2024, having previously broken through at Montpellier HSC after progressing from their B team and youth ranks.

Born on 2 January 2003 in Courcouronnes and standing at 1.84m, Wahi is a right-footed central striker whose trajectory has seen his market value fluctuate from a high of €40m during his Lens spell to the current €18m mark in Frankfurt. That drop may encourage Galatasaray to believe a deal is financially attainable, with the Süper Lig side often targeting young forwards with resale potential.

The forward has already experienced top-flight football in Ligue 1 with Montpellier, Lens and Marseille, and now in the Bundesliga with Frankfurt, offering a profile of a player accustomed to varied tactical systems and competitive pressure. A move to Istanbul would add the Süper Lig to that list and provide exposure to regular European competition.

Should the transfer materialise, it could represent a pivotal step in Wahi’s career, offering a fresh platform to rebuild his market value and strengthen his reputation as one of the more intriguing young forwards in European football.
