Elves Baldé: Vitória Guimarães eye move for Guinea-Bissau winger from Radomiak

Guinea-Bissau and Portugal right winger Elves Baldé of Polish side Radomiak is being linked with a summer switch to Liga Portugal club Vitória Guimarães.

The 26-year-old, valued at €500,000 on Transfermarkt, is the subject of fresh speculation over a return to Portuguese football, with the reported probability of a deal currently listed as “?”. Details of his contractual situation at Radomiak have not been disclosed, with no expiry date publicly available, raising the prospect he could be allowed to leave at relatively low cost – or even move on as a free agent if his deal has quietly run down.

Baldé, who wears number 21 for Radomiak, has been operating primarily as an attacking right winger in the Ekstraklasa. The 1.69m, right-footed wide player was born in Bissau on 2 October 1999 and holds dual nationality with Guinea-Bissau and Portugal.

Recent Radomiak matches have kept scouts attentive, with Baldé featuring on the flank in the closing stages of the 2025‑26 Ekstraklasa campaign, including Radomiak’s early-June fixtures as the club secured safety in Poland’s top flight. His combination of direct dribbling and pressing from wide areas has reportedly attracted Vitória, who are seeking depth in the attacking positions ahead of the new season.

Baldé’s potential move would also mark a return to a league he knows well, with his career already including experience in Portuguese football before his spell in Poland. His current market valuation of €500k could represent a low-risk option for a club accustomed to trading and developing players for profit.

With talks yet to be confirmed and the probability rating still unclear, any transfer remains at the rumour stage, but a move to Guimarães could offer Baldé a significant platform to reassert himself in a higher-profile league and reshape the next phase of his career.
