Elves Baldé: Estoril linked with move for Guinea-Bissau-Portuguese winger from Radomiak

Guinea-Bissau-born, Portugal-raised right winger Elves Baldé is being linked with a summer move from Polish side Radomiak Radom to Portuguese outfit Estoril, with the 26-year-old’s situation attracting attention as he edges towards potential free-agent status.

Reports in Portugal suggest Estoril are monitoring Baldé’s position closely, with his contract details at Radomiak not publicly disclosed and no expiry date listed, fuelling speculation that a cut-price deal or free transfer could be on the cards. Transfermarkt currently values the winger at €500,000, a figure seen as modest for a player with experience in both the Ekstraklasa and Portuguese football.

Baldé, who stands at 1.69m and prefers to operate on the right flank of the attack, holds dual nationality with Guinea-Bissau and Portugal. Born in Bissau on 2 October 1999, he later moved through the Portuguese system before heading to Poland, where he wears the No 21 shirt for Radomiak in the Ekstraklasa.

The move remains at rumour stage, with the reported probability of the transfer listed as “?” and no agreement yet in place between the clubs. However, Estoril’s interest aligns with their strategy of adding pace and one‑v‑one threat in wide areas ahead of the new Liga Portugal campaign.

Baldé’s recent displays for Radomiak in the Polish top flight have underlined his direct running and right-footed delivery from the flank, though full statistical breakdowns of his latest season remain limited. He continues to feature regularly in matchday squads, including Radomiak’s recent league fixtures, where his work rate and pressing have been noted.

With his market value relatively low and contractual clarity uncertain, Estoril may view Baldé as a low-risk addition who already understands Portuguese football and culture. Should the move materialise, it could offer the winger a timely return to Liga Portugal and a platform to reassert his reputation at a higher-profile stage.
