Eleoenai Tompte has completed a permanent move from Slovenian side NK Krka to Italian club FC Pompei on a free transfer, returning to the Serie D outfit after a brief spell away. The Central African Republic and Ghana dual national has signed a deal with Pompei running from 10 December 2025 to 30 June 2026.
The right winger, valued at €50,000 in his most recent market assessment, re-joins Pompei having left the Italian club for NK Krka earlier in the 2025-26 season. The switch sees him move from Slovenia’s Druga Liga back to Italy’s Serie D – Girone H, where he is expected to operate again in his natural role on the right side of the attack.
Tompte, 26, had only joined Krka from Pompei at the start of the 2025-26 campaign, also on a free transfer, before the latest move was finalised. No transfer fee has been recorded in any of his recent moves, with the latest deal again completed as a free transfer between the two clubs.
The transfer marks another step in a career that has already taken the winger across several European leagues. Born on 18 January 1999, Tompte came through the youth ranks at SPAL Primavera in Italy before making his senior breakthrough with Rimini. He later represented Avellino and Santa Maria Cilento, continuing his development in the Italian system, before spells in the Czech Republic with Povltavska FA and FK Motorlet Prague and in Austria with ASV Siegendorf and FC Marchfeld Donauauen.
His path back to Pompei has been punctuated by short stints without a club, including departures from Marchfeld and Motorlet Prague that left him unattached before previous moves. Those gaps underline how frequently his contracts have been short-term and how quickly his situation can change, with the possibility in future of becoming a free agent again if no extension is agreed before his current deal ends on 30 June 2026.
Tompte’s market value has fluctuated over the years, from €25,000 during his time at Avellino in 2019 to €10,000 at Santa Maria Cilento in 2021. It dipped to zero during his period at ASV Siegendorf, before recovering to €10,000 after his first arrival at Pompei in early 2025 and then rising again to €50,000. That latest valuation was first reached while at Pompei and was maintained following his move to Krka.
The move confirms that Tompte will once again be playing his club football abroad rather than in either of his home nations, continuing a career spent entirely outside the Central African Republic and Ghana. His return to Serie D – Girone H offers another opportunity to consolidate his value and profile in a familiar environment.
Pompei, who previously took him in as a free agent in November 2024, now regain a player already accustomed to Italian football and to the demands of lower-league competition. With his preferred right foot and primary role as an attacking wide player, he is expected to add pace and direct running to the side’s forward options as they navigate the remainder of the campaign.
While detailed appearance and goal statistics for the current season are not provided, the pattern of Tompte’s transfers suggests he has done enough at each stop to attract repeated interest despite frequent short contracts. The stability of a deal through to June 2026 with Pompei could provide a platform for him to translate his growing market value into on-pitch consistency and potentially open doors to higher levels in Italy or elsewhere in Europe once this latest agreement expires.
