End of the first legs of the preliminary round of the CAN U20 qualifiers for Senegal 2015. Out of the scheduled 13 matches, eleven were played due to the withdrawals of certain teams, including Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and South Sudan. Consequently, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Rwanda advanced to the next round.
Nonetheless, there were notable matches on the field over the weekend. Tunisia secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Mauritania, while Niger defeated Congo 2-0, and Lesotho triumphed over Swaziland with a score of 3-0.
On Sunday, Liberia suffered a 0-1 defeat at home against Gambia, while Chad secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Libya.
The match between Sudan and Somalia is scheduled for April 27, which will complete the first round fixtures. The return matches are set to take place in two weeks’ time.
