Eli Junior Kroupi keen on Barcelona move as Bournemouth hold firm
Eli Junior Kroupi has made it clear he is ready to join Barcelona, with the Bournemouth forward viewing a move to Catalonia as the next step in his career.
The 20-year-old forward, who shone in his first Premier League season after leaving Lorient, is now one of the most in-demand attacking talents of the summer.
Spanish journalist Helena Condis Edo reports that Kroupi is “more than ever” open to a transfer and genuinely dreams of signing for Barcelona. The idea of playing at the Olympic Stadium under Hansi Flick excites him, and his camp has given positive signals to the La Liga club.
However, Bournemouth are in no rush to sell. According to English reporter Ben Jacobs, the Cherries have not set an asking price and are keen to keep Kroupi as a central figure in their sporting project for next season, despite talk of 130 million euros in the media. Club officials view him as a cornerstone rather than a player to cash in on quickly.
For Barcelona and PSG, both interested, that stance makes any deal complicated. Kroupi’s desire is clear, but Bournemouth’s refusal to open the door means this saga could drag on unless a huge offer changes their mind.
