Elhadji Thiam: Spain-Senegal Forward Joins FE Grama on Free Transfer
Spain-Senegal centre-forward Elhadji Thiam has joined FE Grama on a free transfer from Montanesa. The 23-year-old has signed a contract with the Spanish club running until 30 June 2027, committing his long-term future after moving within the Catalan football pyramid.
Thiam arrives at FE Grama after spending last season with Montanesa, who he also joined as a free agent. The move marks the latest step in a senior career built across several regional and lower-league sides in Spain, where he has consistently found opportunities to lead the line as a central striker.
Born on 31 March 2003, Thiam holds both Spanish and Senegalese nationality and is listed primarily as a centre-forward. His switch to FE Grama offers continuity in familiar surroundings, with the forward remaining in Spain and staying in a competitive environment he has known throughout his development.
Before his spell at Montanesa, Thiam represented Santfeliuenc FC, having arrived there in 2023 following another free transfer from UE Tarrega. He first linked up with Tarrega in November 2022 after a short period without a club, rebuilding his pathway in the senior game.
At youth level, Thiam came through the ranks at CE Europa, progressing from their youth set-up into Europa’s Under-19 side in 2020. He later moved to Badalona’s Under-19s in 2021, gaining further experience before stepping fully into senior football.
FE Grama have now secured Thiam on a free transfer, tying the centre-forward to the club until the summer of 2027.
