Morocco centre-forward El Mehdi Maouhoub has joined United FC from Dynamo Moscow on loan, completing a move to the UAE Pro League club on 10 August 2026.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Casablanca, has agreed terms with United FC through 30 June 2027. Maouhoub will wear the club’s colours after leaving Dynamo Moscow, where he played in Russia’s Premier Liga.

Maouhoub is a right-footed striker who stands 1.86m tall. His arrival gives United FC an established centre-forward with experience of domestic success in Morocco and international competition with the country’s Olympic team.

Before moving to Russia, Maouhoub played for Raja Club Athletic, helping the club win the Moroccan championship and Moroccan Cup during the 2023-24 season. Those honours remain the senior forward’s only recorded domestic trophies.

He also featured for Morocco’s Olympic team at the 2024 Games, where the side finished third. Maouhoub scored once during the tournament, adding an international achievement to his club honours.

The move takes Maouhoub into the UAE Pro League after his spell in the Premier Liga and represents a change of competition for the Casablanca-born forward. United FC have secured his services on a loan agreement, with the transfer completed on 10 August.

Maouhoub’s career has included success at club level in Morocco, a spell in Russia and Olympic involvement with his national team. He now continues that career in the United Arab Emirates, where his contract with United FC is set to run until 30 June 2027.

El Mehdi Maouhoub has completed his loan move from Dynamo Moscow to United FC.
