El Masry linked with Al Ahly winger Reda Slim

Morocco winger Reda Slim is the subject of transfer interest from El Masry, with the 26-year-old currently contracted to Al Ahly in Egypt’s Premier League.

Slim returned to Al Ahly on 9 July after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at former club AS FAR Rabat. The right winger joined Al Ahly from AS FAR for €2m in July 2023 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027.

The reported interest comes after a spell in which Slim rejoined the Moroccan club on a loan deal that included a €181,000 fee. His return to Al Ahly leaves his immediate future open to speculation, although there is no indication that a move to El Masry has been completed.

Slim has made 26 league appearances during his career, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He also helped Al Ahly win the Egyptian championship in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, as well as the CAF Champions League in 2023-24.

The Rabat-born player began his senior career with AS FAR and won the Moroccan championship with the club in 2022-23 before moving to Egypt. His current Al Ahly deal gives the club contractual control over any potential transfer, with more than a year remaining on the agreement.
