El Kacem Khodja: Algerian midfielder joins CR Temouchent on free transfer from ES Mostaganem

Algerian attacking midfielder El Kacem Khodja has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer from ES Mostaganem. The 21-year-old moves within Algerian footballs top flight and is registered as an attacking midfielder, adding creativity to Temouchents options in the final third.

Born in Oran on 8 February 2005, Khodja arrives at his new club after a season in which he gained experience at senior level. He featured in Ligue 1 and the Algerian Cup for ES Mostaganem, building on his progression through domestic youth and development football.

Khodja had only joined ES Mostaganem in September 2025, also on a free transfer, after leaving MC Orans U21 set-up. His rise from youth football at Oran to the professional ranks has now led to a move into a Ligue 1 environment at Temouchent, where he will compete for a place in midfield.

Operating primarily as an attacking midfielder, Khodja made eight league appearances last season, accumulating 520 minutes of action. His involvement in both league and cup campaigns for Mostaganem helped establish him as a first-team option and contributed to Temouchents decision to secure his services.

Khodja, whose current market value is assessed at around 50,000, joins CR Temouchent ahead of the 2026-27 campaign following the completion of his free transfer from ES Mostaganem on 9 July 2026.
