El Gouje makes Botola switch as MAS Fes pay €187k for Morocco midfielder
Morocco midfielder Mounir El Gouje has joined MAS Fes from Olympique Dcheira in a €187,000 move, completing his transfer to the Botola Pro Inwi club.
The 22-year-old, who was born in Agadir, operates primarily as a defensive midfielder and moved to MAS Fes on 14 August 2026. His arrival marks a step up to a club competing in Morocco’s top flight after two seasons with Olympique Dcheira.
El Gouje made 22 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi during the 2025-26 campaign, scoring once and providing one assist. He also featured eight times in the Excellence Cup, where he scored one goal, and made two appearances in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, registering an assist.
His recent campaign included 1,718 minutes in the Botola Pro Inwi, making it his most substantial contribution among the competitions in which he played. He also recorded 590 minutes in the Excellence Cup and 180 minutes in the Botola Pro 1 Relegation competition.
El Gouje joined Olympique Dcheira from the club’s under-23 side on 1 July 2024. During his time with the senior team, he was part of the side that won the Moroccan League Cup in the 2024-25 season.
The midfielder’s move to MAS Fes comes with his market value listed at €250,000, while the agreed fee for the transfer is €187,000. He joins a club competing in the Botola Pro Inwi, giving him the opportunity to continue his senior career at the top level of Moroccan football.
El Gouje has represented Morocco as his sole nationality and remains a domestic player moving between two Moroccan clubs. His career to date has been built in the country’s league system, first with Dcheira’s under-23 team and then with the senior side.
The transfer was completed and registered on 14 August 2026.
