El Bilal Toure: Parma eye move for Atalanta winger in Serie A switch

Mali and Ivory Coast winger El Bilal Toure of Atalanta is being linked with a move to fellow Serie A side Parma as the newly returned top-flight club look to strengthen their attack before the new season. The 24-year-old, who can operate from the left and prefers his right foot, is under contract in Bergamo until 30 June 2028 but is attracting interest despite that long-term deal.

Parma’s interest comes as Toure returns to Atalanta following successive loan spells, most recently at Besiktas last season and at VfB Stuttgart the year before. Atalanta paid €30.2 million to sign him from UD Almeria in July 2023, and he is currently valued at around €13 million, a figure likely to shape any negotiations between the clubs.

Toure’s time in Italy has so far been fragmented, with limited Serie A minutes for Atalanta, where he has scored twice and provided one assist in 11 league appearances. However, his most prolific spell in a top league came in La Liga with Almeria, where he registered seven goals and two assists in 21 matches, performances that originally persuaded Atalanta to invest heavily in him.

The winger was part of the Atalanta squad that won the Europa League in 2023-24 and later lifted the German Cup with Stuttgart while on loan in 2024-25, adding to his reputation for contributing in high-level environments. With Parma exploring attacking options and Atalanta yet to fully integrate him into Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans, attention is now focused on whether the clubs can agree terms for a deal while Toure remains tied to Atalanta for another two years.
