Eintracht Frankfurt have placed a substantial valuation of €80 million on their 22-year-old striker, Hugo Ekitike, as interest from top European clubs intensifies ahead of the summer transfer window.
The French U21 international of Cameroonian descent, who joined Frankfurt permanently from Paris Saint-Germain in April 2024 for €16.5 million, has emerged as a key figure in the Bundesliga side’s attack.
Ekitike’s impressive performances this season have not gone unnoticed. He has netted 21 goals and provided nine assists in 42 appearances across all competitions, showcasing his potential as a leading forward.
His current contract with Frankfurt runs until 2029, reflecting the club’s long-term commitment to the player.
Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Ekitike’s situation closely.
Arsenal, in particular, is seeking to bolster its attacking options, with Ekitike featuring prominently on their shortlist. Manchester United, meanwhile, views the Frenchman as a potential addition to rejuvenate their forward line.
Newcastle United have also expressed interest, especially if their current striker, Alexander Isak, departs this summer.
Despite the growing interest, Eintracht Frankfurt remain firm on their valuation.
The club is reportedly open to selling Ekitike but will not entertain offers below the €80 million mark.
This stance is influenced by a clause that entitles Paris Saint-Germain to 20% of any future transfer profit, compelling Frankfurt to maximize any potential deal.
