Eintracht Frankfurt’s head coach Dino Topmüller has lavished praise on Egyptian international Omar Marmoush following his match-winning performance in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash against Slavia Prague.
Marmoush secured a 1-0 victory for Frankfurt with a stunning free-kick goal in the 53rd minute, a display of precision that left fans and analysts alike in awe.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Topmüller expressed his admiration for the 25-year-old forward’s skillful execution.
“I don’t think you’ll see a better free-kick than that,” said Topmüller.
“It was simply perfect.”
The coach further explained that free-kick technique isn’t something specifically trained in their practice sessions but acknowledged that any player knows the enjoyment that comes with taking a well-struck free kick.
Marmoush has now tallied 13 goals across competitions this season, a feat that has reportedly caught the attention of several top clubs across Europe.
However, Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krosche, remains focused on keeping Marmoush at the club, steering clear of discussions about potential transfers or external interest.
Commenting on the speculation surrounding the star player, Krosche said, “Of course, I’m pleased that he continues to score.
I think Omar feels comfortable here, so we don’t need to always talk about his possible departure or offers that might come in for him.”
With his consistent performances, Marmoush has cemented himself as a vital player for Eintracht Frankfurt and a growing talent on the European stage, leaving fans eager to see what more he has in store this season.
