Pyramids FC are gearing up for the 2025/26 football campaign following a successful campaign that saw them secured a historic CAF Champions League title.
However, the Egyptian outfit will in the coming days decide on the future of eight players at the club. Pyramids are currently waiting for the return of Croatian gaffer Krunoslav Jurčić before deciding the fate of several players at the club.
Currently, eight players is facing an uncertain future following the end of their loan spells in the recently concluded campaign.
The players include, Mahmoud Zalaka, Ahmed Fawzy, Emad Mayhoub, Abdelrahman Gouda, and Mohamed Reda “Bobo”.
Other players, whose future hangs in the balance are Mahmoud Saber, Youssef Osama Nabih and Abdallah Magdy.
With Juric set to return to Cairo on July 1, the Egyptian club will make key decisions regarding several first team players.
The Croatian gaffer is expected to assess the squad in pre-season training and decide who stays and who parts ways with the club.
Recently, Pyramids officially released Nigerian forward Sodiq Ogola after his loan expired. Meanwhile, Islam Issa and Fakhri Lakay have completed permanent transfers to Ceramica Cleopatra, who exercised the purchase option in their loan agreements.
