Ehon Kodjo: Togo midfielder joins FC Didube on free transfer
Togo midfielder Ehon Kodjo has joined FC Didube from FC Gardabani on a free transfer, completing his move to the Georgian club on 13 August 2026.
The 26-year-old leaves Gardabani after joining the club from FC Machakhela on 4 April 2025, also on a free transfer. His latest switch represents the second move of his senior career recorded during the past two seasons, with both transfers completed without a fee.
Kodjo operates in midfield and is right-footed. Born on 31 December 1999, he stands 1.80m tall and brings experience of football in Georgia, having represented Machakhela and Gardabani before moving to Didube.
His recorded competitive involvement includes a 90-minute appearance in the David Kipiani Cup. The midfielder’s arrival gives Didube a player whose recent club history has been built entirely in the Georgian game, following his move from Machakhela to Gardabani before this latest change.
Kodjo’s career path has so far involved free transfers between Georgian clubs. He spent the period from April 2025 until August 2026 with Gardabani, before leaving for Didube at the start of the 2026-27 season.
The move also marks a fresh chapter for the midfielder after his spell at Gardabani. At 26, Kodjo joins his third recorded club, having previously played for Machakhela and Gardabani.
No contract expiry date has been provided for his agreement with Didube, so the length of his stay at the club has not been specified. The transfer is nevertheless complete, with Kodjo formally registered as a Didube player from 13 August.
FC Didube are the latest club to secure the services of the Togo international, who has made Georgia the setting for his club career. His transition from Gardabani to Didube follows a straightforward free move rather than a loan arrangement, and he is now available to represent his new side.
Kodjo’s transfer to FC Didube was completed on 13 August 2026.
