Egyptian forward Ahmed Alaa has expressed his delight at being part of the Al Kuwait squad, which recently secured the Kuwaiti Premier League title for the 20th time in the club’s history.
Alaa, who joined the senior team this season, says he feels fortunate to play for the country’s most successful side, which recently celebrated its fourth consecutive league crown.
Al Kuwait’s dominance in Kuwaiti football is unmatched, with their 20th title putting them three clear of their nearest rivals, Al Arabi and Al Qadsia.
Reflecting on his journey, Alaa credited Montenegrin coach Nebojša Jovović for giving him the chance to compete alongside some of the league’s top talents.
The team’s attacking options include Tunisian international Yassine Khenissi, Kuwaiti star Yousef Nasser, as well as promising talents like Mohamed Daham, Bahraini forward Mohamed Marhoon, and fellow Egyptian Amr Abdel Fattah.
Alaa, who rose through the youth ranks at Al Kuwait, has already made a strong impression in his debut season.
Despite limited playing time, he has managed to score three goals in just four senior appearances.
He also leads the scoring charts for the club’s youth team, underlining his potential as a future star for the club.
Alaa has also praised the support he receives from the club’s management and senior players, highlighting the importance of mentorship in his development.
