Egyptian U-17 national team calls up six Zamalek players

Zamalek Sporting Club has officially received a letter from the Egyptian Football Association, notifying them of the selection of six players from the club’s 2008 and 2009 youth teams to join the upcoming training camp for Egypt’s U-17 national team.

The chosen players and their respective positions are as follows:

  • Omar Abdelaziz, Goalkeeper, born in 2008.
  • Mohamed Ihab, Goalkeeper, born in 2008.
  • Omar Yasser, Defender, born in 2008.
  • Mohamed Hamad, Attacking Midfielder, born in 2008.
  • Muath Mohamed, Defender, born in 2008.
  • Ahmed Ibrahim, Striker, born in 2009.

These young talents will be part of the U-17 national team’s training camp, led by coach Ahmed Al-Kas, starting on January 4 and extending until January 11.

The camp is an integral part of the team’s preparations for the 2025 African U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers.
