Egyptian international Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba is saddened by his imminent departure from giants, Al Ahly in the ongoing January transfer window.

The 30-year-old attacker is set to join Libyan Al-Ittihad on loan from the Egyptian powerhouse.

And speaking to MBC Masr 2, the highly-rated forward said he is sad leaving the Egyptian club this window.

“Al-Ahly is my home and there is only one last step left before I leave on loan for 6 months to the Libyan Al-Ittihad team.”

Meanwhile, Kahraba has reiterated desire to return to his parent at the end of his loan spell in Libya.

“I seek to return to Al-Ahly to participate in the Club World Cup.”

Kahraba made just four appearances in the Egyptian Premier League campaign this season, without scoring or providing an assist.
