Egyptian Sports Ministry responds to IOC letter with action plan on Sports Law amendments

The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially responded to the latest letter from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), taking clear steps to move discussions forward on the proposed Sports Law amendments.

According to sports news outlet Kooora, the IOC recently sent a detailed letter asking the ministry to review and give feedback on its proposed changes to key sports regulations.

In a public statement, Mohamed El Shazly, spokesperson for the Ministry, said they received confirmation from the IOC that an English version of the draft will be shared once it is complete in both form and content.

He added that a video conference will soon take place between both parties to clarify the ideas behind the proposed amendments and work toward finalising the updated draft.

The ministry emphasized its commitment to working transparently and cooperatively with the IOC during this process, noting that both sides aim to ensure any future changes to the law align with international sports standards and best practices.
