The Egyptian Football Association has disclosed that, once again, a delegation of Egyptian referees has been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate a match in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations 2023 in Cote d’Ivoire.

In the inaugural match of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023, where Cote d’Ivoire faced Guinea-Bissau, an entire Egyptian refereeing team, led by Amin Omar, was entrusted with the officiating duties.
According to the official page of the Egyptian Football Association, the CAF Referees Committee has chosen Mohamed Adel to officiate the Mali vs. South Africa match in the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Assisting him will be Mahmoud Abu Elregal and Ahmed Hossam Taha as assistant referees, with Amin Omar serving as the fourth official.
