Egyptian Premier League champions to pocket record $1 million prize in 2026/27 season

The winners of the 2026/27 Egyptian Premier League season will receive a record-breaking financial reward of 50 million Egyptian pounds (approximately US$1 million), marking a significant increase in prize money and underlining the league’s growing commercial strength.

The unprecedented payout is the highest ever offered to the champions of Egypt’s top-flight competition and represents a major boost for clubs competing for domestic glory.

The increase reflects the Egyptian Pro League’s efforts to enhance the league’s profile, attract greater investment and reward sporting success.

The new prize fund is expected to intensify competition among the country’s traditional heavyweights, including Al Ahly, Zamalek and Pyramids FC, as well as other ambitious clubs aiming to challenge for the title during the upcoming campaign.
