Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC renew contract of midfielder Mahmoud Saber until 2029

Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC have renewed the contract of attacking midfielder Mahmoud Saber ahead of the start of the 2025/26 football campaign.

The 24-year-old, who recently returned from a loan spell at Smouha has signed a three-year new deal that will keep him Pyramids FC until summer 2029.

The reigning CAF Champions League holders signed Mahmoud Saber from El-Nogoum SC in the summer of 2020 and since embark on several loan spells.

He was loaned to Zed FC in the summer of 2023 before another loan spell Smouha during the summer of 2024/25 season.

Since joining Pyramids, the midfielder has made 59 appearances for the club, scoring 8 goals and providing 11 assists.

Saber participated in the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations with the Egyptian national team and also participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Meanwhile, the enterprising midfielder has been farmed out on loan to ZED FC ahead of the upcoming season. He has joined the club on a season-long loan and is expected to play a huge role for the club.
