Egyptian outfit Al-Ittihad Alexandria secure signing of Nigeria winger Abubakar Mohammed Liadi

Al-Ittihad Alexandria have announced the signing of Nigeria winger Abubakar Mohammed Liadi in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old attacker joins the Egyptian outfit FROM Smouha SC on a two-year deal, keeping him at the club until summer 2027

Abubakar Liadi is no stranger to Egyptian football, having previously featured for Smouha SC in the top-flight. He is expected to play a huge role for the in the upcoming 2025/26 football season for his new outfit.

The Egyptian side are executing an aggressive effort to bolster their squad for the new seasons they seek to make a meaningful impact.

The signing of the Nigeria winger came at the request of Ahmed Sami, the technical director of the first team at Al-Ittihad Alexandria.

As the new season approaches, the Egyptian club will be hoping to add certain players to their ranks to equip themselves for the campaign.
