Egyptian giants Al Ahly have announced the signing of defender Ahmed Ramadan.
The club confirmed the return of the player to the club in an official statement on Thursday, June 5.
Ahmed Ramadan has been signed on a one-year loan deal from fellow Egyptian Premier League side Ceramica Cleopatra.
According to sources, Al Ahly’s management successfully reached a final agreement with Ceramica Cleopatra for the temporary transfer of the player.
Ahmed Ramadan is expected to strengthen the squad of Al Ahly ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
In a related development, Al Ahly’s squad has touched down at Miami International Airport in the United States as they gear up for the start of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The tournament is set to run from June 14 to July 13 and will feature 32 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament.
Al Ahly have been drawn into Group A, where they will face Inter Miami (USA), FC Porto (Portugal), and Palmeiras (Brazil).
Before the start of the tournament, Al Ahly will play a warm-up friendly against Mexican side Pachuca on June 8.
