A delegation from the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization delivered an enlightening lecture today to the players of the Egyptian Olympic football team.

The session was attended by Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, along with Mohamed Barakat, a member of the Football Association Council overseeing the national team, Walid El-Attar, the Executive Director of the Football Association, and the coaching staff led by the Brazilian head coach, Miguel.

The lecture, conducted by experts from the organization, garnered considerable interest from players and the coaching staff.

The initiative was praised by all attendees as a commendable and purposeful step taken by the Minister of Youth and Sports.

The interaction during the meeting allowed members of the delegation to engage in discussions and address inquiries from both players and team officials.

Tarek Suleiman, the head of the medical staff, and Salah Ashour, a specialist in rehabilitation and field injuries, shared valuable insights during the session.

The Egyptian Olympic team is scheduled to participate in a friendly tournament hosted in the United Arab Emirates, featuring teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Iraq.

The tournament is set to kick off on January 17th and will conclude on the 28th of the same month.

The inclusion of the anti-doping lecture showcases a commitment to ensuring fair play and integrity within the sports community, aligning with global efforts to combat doping in sports.
