Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Awwad has been summoned to Zamalek’s legal affairs team for misconduct during his outfit game against Ceramica Cleopatra.
The 32-year-old shot stopper is facing sanction from Zamalek following his behaviour in the match. Awad made substitute appearance when his outfit played out a 2-2 draw with their opponent in the Egyptian Premier League.
Having protested his substitution, the leadership of the club has decided to refer the goalkeeper to the legal affairs for investigation.
The Egyptian powerhouse will make a decision based on the established affairs in line with the team and the interest of the team and the interest of all.
Awad, who has two caps for the Egyptian national team is contracted to Zamalek until 2027.
