Egyptian giants Al Ahly are in danger losing enterprising midfielder Emam Ashour following interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Despite being under contract until 2028, the 27-year-old could depart Al Ahly for greener pastures in the summer.
According to reports, Emam Ashour is attracting strong interest from several clubs in Saudi Arabia as the summer transfer window approaches.
Ashour might consider departing after the Club World Cup, which is set to kick off in the United States on June 14.
Al Ahly could be compelled to sell their influential midfielder this summer if he does not agree to a contract extension until 2030. Discussions are reportedly ongoing, with the club eager to retain one of its standout performers.
Since joining Al Ahly from Danish club, FC Midtjylland in 2023, Emam Ashour has made a significant impact, scoring 26 goals and delivering 16 assists in 79 appearances.
This season, the Egyptian midfielder has made 32 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 7 assists.
