Egyptian giants Al Ahly lose influential trio for Premier League clash against Enppi SC
Egyptian giants Al Ahly will have to negotiate for points without influential trio ahead of the Premier League clash against Enppi SC.
In a high-stake clash on Sunday, Enppi SC will play host to Al Ahly in matchday six of the Egyptian top-flight.
However, the record Champions League holders are expected to miss the services of three key players including Karim Fouad, Mohamed Shukry and Ashraf Dari for the much-anticipated clash this weekend.
Karim Fouad and Mohamed Shukry continued their rehabilitation training as part of their treatment program, while Ashraf Dari performed physical training on the field before completing his treatment program in the gym.
The trio will not be available for the high-stake clash against Enppi as they continue their recovery process.
Al Ahly have been unimpressive since the commencement of the Premier League campaign in Egypt, leading to the sacking of Spanish gaffer Jose Riveiro. Emad El Nahhas has taken interim charge of the team until a substantive coach is appointed.
Currently, Al Ahly find themselves in the 13th position on the Premier League standings, accumulating just five points.
