Egyptian football heavyweights, Al Ahly, have intensified their pursuit of the Congolese international Afimico Pululu ahead of the winter transfer window.
The record CAF Champions League holders are seeking to strengthen their attack in the January window, with the Angolan-born Congolese star emerging as the first choice.
As per reports, the Egyptian outfit has intensified negotiations for the acquisition of the attacker, who plies his trade for Polish club Jagiellonia Białystok.

Pululu’s contract with his Polish outfit runs out at the end of the current campaign, giving Al Ahly the bargaining power to snap up the attacker.
The Egyptian side are in direct negotiations with Pululu and his agent in an attempt to agree on annual contract in the region of $1.2 million.
Al-Ahly is considering other alternatives to strengthen the attacking position, in anticipation of the deal failing to be completed, especially given that the player has received an offer from one of the top clubs in the Polish league.
The African giants is seeking to sign two attacking players during the winter transfer window, with one being over the age limit and the other under the age.
