Egyptian giants Al Ahly inclined to transfer midfielder Omar El Saaiy on permanent deal
Egyptian football heavyweights Al Ahly are unwilling to transfer midfielder Omar El Saaiy to Al Masry on permanent deal.
The 22-year-old joined Al Masry on a season-long loan from Al Ahly and has since established himself as a key member of the team. After 12 matches into the Premier League campaign, the Egyptian U23 star has racked up four goals for Al Masry.
Following a flying start to his loan spell, Al Masry have contacted Al Ahly in an attempt to activate the clause to sign Omar El Saaiy on a permanent deal.
But Al-Ahly are inclined to accept Al-Masry’s request, seeking for the permanent sale of the enterprising midfielder. In all competitions, the midfielder has made 13 appearances for Al Masry.
Having declined permanent signing of the midfielder, he is expected to return to his parent club at the end of his loan spell in summer 2026.
Al Ahly is preparing to face Enppi this Friday evening, as part of the Egypt Capital Cup tournament.
