Egyptian Premier League: Al Ahly and Zamalek Strengthen Title Push with Matchday 14 Wins

Al Ahly SC have reportedly introduced salary deductions for players and members of the technical staff following the team’s recent struggles in the Egyptian Premier League.

The move comes after growing frustration within the club’s leadership over a disappointing run of results, including a recent 2–1 defeat to Tala’ea El Gaish SC.

The club’s board decided to impose a percentage cut in the salaries of players and staff as a disciplinary measure aimed at addressing the dip in performance.

The loss to Tala’ea El Gaish intensified concerns within the club hierarchy, as the Egyptian giants seek to regain momentum in the league and maintain their competitiveness in the title race.

Al Ahly’s management is believed to have taken the decision as part of efforts to send a strong message to the squad and coaching staff about the need for improved performances and greater commitment on the pitch.

The Cairo-based club, one of the most successful teams in African football history, is under increasing pressure from supporters and officials to quickly turn things around and return to winning ways.
