Egyptian forward, Omar Marmoush is on the verge of securing a lucrative move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
Reports indicate that he will earn approximately €16 million per year upon signing with the English club.
According to sources, the 25-year-old is set for a significant salary boost, as he currently earns around €2 million per year at Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Manchester City is expected to pay a transfer fee of €75 million, with an additional €5 million in potential add-ons, to secure the services of the Egypt international.
Marmoush has been in sensational form this season, scoring 15 goals in 17 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt. His impressive performances have drawn the attention of City, who are keen to bolster their attacking options.
The forward has already bid farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt fans during the team’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Friday night. He has also said his goodbyes to his teammates and club staff, marking the end of his tenure in Germany.
With his departure settled, Marmoush is expected to travel to England over the weekend for a medical examination, which will pave the way for an official announcement from Manchester City.
