From tough beginnings in Egypt to a fresh chapter in the UAE, Ibrahim Adel’s football journey has been shaped by resilience, mentorship, and ambition.
The talented forward is eager to make his mark at Al Jazira after completing a move he describes as a reward for years of hard work.
Adel, who began his career with Al-Merrikh SC before rising through the ranks at Pyramids FC, credits his success to those who stood by him through his early struggles. “At first, I faced difficulties when I started with Al-Merrikh SC and then moved to Pyramids FC. Thank God, after the fatigue and difficulties, the reward came with arriving at Al-Jazira Club,” he said in a club video.
The young Egyptian also opened up about the influence of coaches and teammates who guided him along the way, including Mohamed Elneny, who played a key role in helping him embrace the Al Jazira move.
On his role models, he mentioned Egyptian legend Aboutrika and former Chelsea winger Hazard. “Mohamed Aboutrika on the local field, and the Belgian Adnan Hazard on the international level.”
Now settled in Abu Dhabi, he’s set his sights on writing a new chapter that could bring silverware and lasting legacy.
