Ihab El-Komi, a member of the Egyptian Football Association’s Board of Directors, has confirmed that the Egyptian Football Association has finalized all agreements with the Portuguese coach, Rui Vitoria, the former head coach of the national team, regarding the termination of his contract, and a contract has been signed based on this agreement.
El-Komi added, during a phone call with the presenter Amir Hesham on his program “+90” on Al Nahar channel: “An agreement was reached between Vitoria and Walid El-Attar, the executive director, and Mohamed Al-Mashat, the legal advisor, regarding the termination of the contract, the penalty clause, and the mechanism for its repayment soon.”
El-Komi continued: “Victor Pereira, the head of the referees’ committee, is completely stable in his position, and there is no intention to dismiss him or for him to leave, especially since he has been performing his role perfectly so far.
The referees have performed well in the Africa Cup of Nations, and the referee for the Egypt Cup final will be Egyptian.”
He concluded: “Gamal Allam and Khaled El-Darandaly are working on resolving the issue of supporting clubs in the Professional League, and there will be a breakthrough soon.
The Professional League has succeeded, as evidenced by the addition of approximately 18 players to the Egyptian Premier League.”
