The Egyptian Football Association has appointed Norwegian match officials to handle top-liner between Al Ahly and Zamalek this weekend.
On Saturday, the two most glamorous clubs in Egypt will lock horns in matchday 15 of the Egyptian Premier League at the Cairo International Stadium.
Al Ahly requested for a foreign officials and has been granted by the domestic football governing body (Egypt FA).
UEFA elite referee Espen Eskus, considered as one of the top referees will be the centre referee for the much anticipated clash.
His compatriots, Jan-Erik Engan and Isaac Bashvikin will serve as assistant referees while Osman Islam takes charge as the fourth referee for the crucial game.
Additionally, Tom Tom Harald Hagen and Christopher Hagens will be in charge of the video technology.
The appointment of the Norwegian referees is based on the recommendation and nomination of Massimo Busacca, Director of Referees at the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), and Roberto Rosetti, Chairman of the Referees Committee at the European Union (UEFA).
