Egyptian Cup: Zamalek to face Ceramica Cleopatra in Round of 16

Zamalek SC is set to clash with Ceramica Cleopatra in the round of 16 of the 2025–26 Egyptian Cup.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, at 5:00 PM Cairo time, taking place at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

Zamalek heads into the fixture on the back of strong form, having recently secured a 2-1 win over Kaizer Chiefs in the final group stage match of the CAF Confederation Cup.

That victory not only topped their group but also guaranteed a spot in the competition’s quarter-finals. The team has also been enjoying a positive run domestically, following a league win against Smouha.

In the Egypt Cup, Zamalek reached this stage with a narrow 1-0 triumph over Baladeyet El Mahalla.

Ceramica Cleopatra earned their place in the round of 16 after a 2-0 victory against Abu Qir Fertilizers, setting up a competitive showdown with the Cairo giants.

The winner of Tuesday’s encounter will advance to face Tala’ea El-Gaish in the Egypt Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday, March 18.
