Ahmed Suleiman, a board member at Zamalek Club, said the team had endured numerous refereeing crises this season but had previously chosen to remain silent to protect the league’s stability. He added that the recurrence of impactful errors has forced the club to speak out, emphasizing that “silence is no longer a solution” as these decisions continue to affect results.
Mohamed Moussa of Al-Masry Club echoed these concerns, noting that his team suffered in multiple matches from critical refereeing errors. He warned that ongoing mistakes undermine fair competition and called for immediate action to preserve equal opportunities for all clubs.
Ahmed El Mahdi, football director at Ismaily Club, lamented lost points resulting from controversial calls. While stressing that Ismaily is not seeking conflict, he acknowledged growing dissatisfaction within the club as familiar refereeing mistakes persisted from match to match.
Sherif Abdeen, general supervisor at Ismailia Electricity Club, said his team had filed multiple official complaints in recent months and expected improvements in officiating standards. He added that patience has worn thin and called for transparent mechanisms to ensure accountability and referee development.
Khaled Bebo, football director at Zed FC, praised his team for handling contentious decisions professionally but argued that the league now requires decisive steps to raise refereeing standards. He warned that repeated errors risk eroding public trust in the competition.
Tamer Khalil, vice president of Ghazl El Mahalla, highlighted how refereeing controversies have directly affected his club’s standings, calling on the authorities for concrete measures to prevent future errors. “Enough is enough,” he said, reflecting the sentiment shared across multiple teams.
