Zamalek SC has issued a formal statement denying any involvement in the wave of rumours surrounding the current dispute with winger Ahmed Sayed Zizo, distancing the club from speculation that has circulated in recent days.

Zamalek stressed that only information shared through its verified social media platforms or official media centre should be considered accurate.
“Due to the widespread media coverage and news regarding Zamalek’s relationship with its current player, Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed Sayed ‘Zizo,’ and the measures and decisions taken in this regard, Zamalek Club declares that it is not responsible for the news circulating on this subject, except for those officially published by the Club through its official platforms on social media and through its media center only,” the club’s statement read.
