Egypt winger Youssef Osama Nabih joins Mosul SC from Zed FC

Egyptian winger Youssef Osama Nabih has joined Iraqi side Mosul SC from Zed FC, completing a move to the Iraq Stars League.

The 25-year-old operates primarily on the left wing and is right-footed. He arrives after one season with Zed, having joined the Egyptian club from Pyramids FC in August 2025.

Nabih made 59 Premier League appearances during his career, scoring five goals and providing six assists. He also played in the Egyptian League Cup, the relegation play-offs, the CAF Champions League, the Egypt Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup.

His most productive continental campaign came with Pyramids, where he scored once in nine CAF Champions League appearances. He was part of the Pyramids team that won the competition in the 2024-25 season and also lifted the Egypt Cup in 2023-24.

Nabih joined Pyramids from Zamalek in August 2023, moving as a free agent. Before that, he spent time with Ittihad Alexandria on loan during the second half of the 2024-25 season, returning to Pyramids at the end of the campaign.

The winger began his senior career after progressing through Zamalek’s academy system. He moved from Enppi’s under-21 side to Zamalek’s youth ranks in 2017 and had loan spells with Aswan before establishing himself in Egyptian football.

He also won the Egyptian league title with Zamalek in the 2021-22 season. Nabih, who was born in Cairo and stands 1.81m tall, now adds experience from Egypt’s domestic and continental competitions to Mosul’s squad.

Nabih’s transfer to Mosul SC was completed on 2 August 2026.
