Egypt winger Anas Wael has joined Ittihad Alex from Zamalek U21 on a free transfer, completing his move to the Premier League club on 9 August 2026.

The 21-year-old has signed a contract with Ittihad Alex that runs until 30 June 2031. Wael becomes part of the club’s attacking options after moving from Zamalek’s under-21 side, where he previously played before switching clubs.

Wael operates primarily on the right wing and is left-footed. His position gives Ittihad Alex an attacking player capable of playing from the flank, while his arrival marks a move into senior club football with a side competing in the Premier League.

Born on 22 March 2005, Wael is from 6th of October City in Egypt. He remains eligible to represent Egypt, having been listed with Egyptian nationality, and continues his career in the country after leaving Zamalek’s development structure.

The transfer brings the winger to Ittihad Alexandria SC, with the club recorded as “Ittihad Alex”. His new deal extends for almost five years from the date of his arrival, keeping him contracted through the end of June 2031.

Wael’s move is one of the club’s confirmed additions for the 2026-27 campaign, although the available details do not include appearances, goals or other competitive statistics from his time with Zamalek U21. The transfer instead provides a clear next step in his club career, taking him from an under-21 team to a senior Premier League squad.

Ittihad Alex have therefore secured the services of Anas Wael without a transfer fee, with the Egyptian winger now contracted to the club until 30 June 2031.
