Egypt winger Adham Refai makes RFC Luttich move from El Gouna

Adham Refai, the 18-year-old Egypt winger, has joined Belgian club RFC Luttich from El Gouna on loan, completing a move that takes him into the Challenger Pro League for the 2026-27 season.

The loan began on 23 August 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027, when Refai is scheduled to return to El Gouna. The agreement gives RFC Luttich a new attacking option on the left, with Refai’s preferred position listed as left winger and his stronger foot as his right.

Refai moves to Belgium after beginning the current campaign with El Gouna. He had not made an appearance in the Challenger Pro League before switching clubs, with the Egyptian side having played one possible fixture in the competition at the time of his move.

The transfer represents Refai’s first move outside Egypt. He joined El Gouna from El Gouna FC Under-23s on 1 July 2025, having previously been part of the club’s development structure. His move to RFC Luttich therefore takes him from Egypt’s top domestic division to Belgium’s second tier.

At 18, Refai becomes part of RFC Luttich’s squad for the remainder of the season. The club will have him under contract for the duration of the loan, while his existing connection with El Gouna remains in place beyond the Belgian spell.

Refai’s arrival adds a young, right-footed wide player to a side competing in the Challenger Pro League. His role is defined primarily from the left flank, where he can provide an attacking outlet as RFC Luttich continues its 2026-27 campaign.

The move was completed on 23 August 2026, with Refai joining RFC Luttich on loan from El Gouna until the end of June 2027.
