Jorvan Vieira has announced that he will be leaving Zamalek at the end of his contract in June. The decision comes just a year after he took over from Hassan Shehata. Vieira cited personal reasons for his departure, stating, “I had difficult times in Egypt. But my departure is for personal reasons. At the end of my contract in June, I will no longer be at Zamalek.” He explained that his family is far from him, and he needs to be with them. Rumors of Vieira joining Al Ahly have been dismissed by the coach, who stated, “That’s not true. And it doesn’t make sense to leave Zamalek for Al Ahly.” There are speculations about Vieira potentially becoming the head coach of the Kuwait national team.
