This morning in Cairo, scenes of violence unfolded as Al Ahly fans, displeased with the verdict for those accused in the Port Said disaster in February 2012, attacked and set fire to the football federation’s headquarters. The initial happiness over the 21 death sentences turned into anger upon learning about more lenient convictions and acquittals for others involved.
