Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush remains undecided about his immediate future at Manchester City, even as several Premier League clubs monitor his situation.
The 26-year-old striker has attracted attention from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, who are reportedly weighing the possibility of securing him on a loan deal during the January transfer window.
Marmoush is currently focused on helping Egypt in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where the Pharaohs have advanced to the quarter-finals.
While speculation about a mid-season move grows, his priority remains contributing to Pep Guardiola’s squad at Manchester City.
A source close to the player confirmed that Aston Villa and Tottenham are observing Marmoush’s situation closely, planning to intensify negotiations once his AFCON campaign concludes.
His agents are also expected to meet Manchester City officials after the tournament, with the forward seeking a more prominent role on the pitch.
Since joining City from Eintracht Frankfurt last January for €75 million, Marmoush has struggled for consistent playing time.
This season, he has featured in 15 matches across all competitions, totaling just 389 minutes, scoring once and assisting another goal. Overall, he has made 40 appearances for City, contributing nine goals and four assists.
The 26-year-old forward’s market value is currently estimated at €65 million by Transfermarkt, reflecting his potential as a versatile attacker capable of influencing games at the highest level.
Despite limited minutes this season, Marmoush has expressed a desire to secure regular playing time, particularly with the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico on the horizon.
