Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has turned down a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce ahead of the winter transfer window.
The 34-year-old pacey attacker has been linked with a move away from Premier League giants, Liverpool following recent outburst, with several clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia jostling for his services.
Fenerbahce has, however, held talks with Salah’s representatives in an attempt to lure the forward to the Turkish top-flight as the winter window approaches.
But Salah’s camp has sent a clear message to Fenerbahce, ruling out a move to Turkey. The forward will either remain at Liverpool or continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
The Egyptian forward is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2027, with his net annual salary reportedly around €14 million. This season, Salah has made 20 appearances for the Merseysiders, registering 5 goals and 4 assists.
Salah is currently with the Egyptian national team at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and has so far netted two goals, propelling the side to Round 16 qualifiaction after just two games at the tournament.
