Egypt star Mohammed Salah reaches 300 Premier League appearances milestone with Liverpool
Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has reached an important milestone in his career with Premier League giants Liverpool following his involvement in the game against Nottingham Forest.
The pacey winger was in full time action when his outfit succumbed to a humiliating 3-0 hoke defeat to Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday.
The match marked Salah’s 300 appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League since joining the giants in 2017 from AS Roma.
Out of the 300 Premier League matches, the Egyptian star has racked up 188 goals for the six-time Champions League winners, delivering 88 assists across the period.
Salah joins Sami Hyypiä, Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher as players with the most Premier League games.
Jamie Carragher has the most Premier League games (509), followed by Steven Gerrard (504), with Jordan Henderson and Sami Hyypiä having 360 and 318 games respectively.
The 35-year-old has yet to hit form for Liverpool this season, scoring only four goals and serving two assists in 12 appearances in the Premier League.
In all competitions, Salah has notched five goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances for the Reds this campaign. Amid Liverpool’s difficult start to the season, the Egyptian star will be hoping to rediscover his form.
