Egypt international Mohammed Salah is prioritising staying at Liverpool amid speculations about his future.

The former Chelsea and Roma star has been linked with a move away from Liverpool as he nears the expiration of his contract.

Salah’s current contract with the Reds expires in June and is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any clubs of his choice since he is the final six months of his deal.

Despite his contract status, the 32-year winger is prioritising staying on Merseyside in order to continue his trade with Liverpool.

According to reports, Salah is currently not holding any negotiations with other clubs as he wishes to remain at the Premier League club.

After scoring 30 goals and assisting a further 22, the Egypt international attacker is set for a potentially record-breaking season with the Reds.

Despite prioritizing Liverpool stay, no contract agreement has been reported as close.

The Liverpool attacker has been linked with a move to PSG and Saudi Arabia in recent months, but with no contact taking place, a new contract at Anfield seems to be the priority for the former Chelsea forward.

Salah will travel to join the Egyptian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers this month.
