Egyptian international Mohammed Salah emerged as the hero as Liverpool cruised to a stoppage-time victory over Burnley in the Premier League.

The 33-year-old started and played full throttle of the match as the Reds secured a crucial 1-0 away win over Burnley in the week four clash of the top-flight, held at the Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

Liverpool dominated throughout the match, but the only goal came deep into stoppage time, with Salah converting a penalty to secure the win. The win has propelled manager Arne Slot to a new record as Liverpool manager.

With this result, Liverpool have now scored in 38 consecutive Premier League matches—a club record and the third-longest scoring streak in the competition’s history.

Additionally, the Reds has now won four Premier League games in a row, each time scoring the decisive goal in the final 10 minutes. Against Bournemouth, Chiesa netted in the 88th minute; Ngumoha struck at 90+10 against Newcastle, and Szoboszlai clinched victory over Arsenal in the 83rd minute.

Salah has made four appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals and providing an assist across the period.
