Egypt star Mohamed Salah set to meet Turkey president Tayyip Erdogan

Egyptian football superstar Mohamed Salah is reportedly set to meet Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan following a request involving the Trabzonspor hierarchy.

According to reports, Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan recently spoke with Erdogan, who asked about the Egyptian star during their conversation.

Dogan reportedly informed the Turkish president about Salah’s desire to meet him, prompting Erdogan to instruct that arrangements be made for the meeting as soon as possible.

The two were initially expected to meet this week during Erdogan’s scheduled visits to Samsun and Rize. However, the proposed meeting could not take place as planned due to a clash between Trabzonspor’s fixture against Konyaspor and the president’s official schedule.

Despite the scheduling difficulty, plans remain in place for the highly anticipated meeting.

Erdogan is expected to receive Salah at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, the official residence of the Turkish president, subject to the availability of time in his busy schedule.
